Hey, did you know that it has become easier than ever to enter sweepstakes and contests online? It’s true! Thanks to the Internet, you have better chances than ever to win contests and giveaways. And luckily, most online sweepstakes don’t cost a penny to enter. I’m not saying that you can get rich by entering contests from home, but if you stick with it you just might be able to have some extra spending money every month.

The first rule for winning online sweepstakes and contests is pretty simple: if they ask you for a credit card number or a fee to enter, then you should be automatically suspicious. There are plenty of sweepstakes out there that don’t require anything to enter except for your email address and some simple information. At the most, you should never do anything more than include a link on your blog or website in order to enter a contest. I’ll say it again: if a sweepstakes asks you to pay to enter, just don’t do it!

Instead, take the time to do some research and find online contests that are free and easy to enter. While many of us don’t like giving out our email online, some sweepstakes do require that you give them a valid email address to enter. If you’re afraid of getting spam in your inbox, then set up a special email account that you will use only for entering online contests. This way, if you do get signed up for a mailing list, it won’t flood your personal inbox.

It’s that simple! There are plenty of resources online for you to find legitimate, free contests, sweepstakes and free sample offers, and a simple search engine query will help you find them right away. Just keep at it and eventually you’ll win your first online contest!
